🔴 TASK 3: Cybersecurity and safe browsing glossary

Activity Focus

⚡ According to the MRCDD, in this activity, you will work with the following indicators:

  • Area 5. Empowerment of students
  • Stage: B
  • Progression Level: B1
  • Competence: 5.1 Accessibility and inclusion
  • Indicator: 5.1.B1.1 Use the accessibility options of the school's technology autonomously, selecting the ones that are most suitable for your students.

  • Area 6. Development of students' digital competence
  • Stage: B
  • Progression Level: B1
  • Competence: 6.5 Problem-solving
  • Indicator: 6.5.B1.3 Select, from the digital technologies provided by the AE or the school authorities, the ones that are most suitable for students, based on their age and maturity level, to help them develop their competence in solving any technical problems that may arise.

Task to be carried out

Review the 🔗 Glossary of cybersecurity and safe browsing 👇️ created by the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia. Choose a minimum of 3 terms or definitions and create an infographic or multimedia resource to share with your students (or the rest of the educational community) where these three sections can be distinguished:

  • What is each term?
  • How does it affect us?
  • What can I do about it?

❗ You are free to use the tool with which you feel most comfortable to complete this task (online layout tool, presentation editor, video, audio, website, word processor, etc.). Also, if you prefer, and think it’s more appropriate, instead of one single infographic or multimedia resource, you can create 3 separate ones to form your own particular glossary.

How to submit the task?

1️⃣ Upload your infographic(s) or multimedia resource(s) about the terms or definitions for safe browsing to this task.
2️⃣ Additionally, to meet the B1 level requirements and demonstrate that you are adopting the use of digital technologies in your teaching practice, submit proof that you are using this material with your students. A photo, video, audio, screenshot of your virtual environment (e.g., Classroom) where the material is available for student reference, a screenshot of your gradebook, etc. Anything that shows it is being put into practice.
